Suleng offers wide range of services which include but are not limited to:
Suleng has a very strong background in software development. We have a group of talented software engineers specializing in delivering automation solutions.
Suleng has proven record of delivering complex machines utilizing Standard and Safety PLCs using variety of data acquisition modules, advance motion control, integration with 3rd party controllers, integration with site DCS, data collection system and historians.
Two platforms are being offered as our standard package:
Rockwell Automation and Siemens Simatic
For Rockwell based machines we typically use Control Guard Logix 5000 safety system for larger installations or Compact Guard Logix 5380
We can offer variety of I/O systems that would include:
Flex 5000
Flex I/O
Point I/O with Guard Logix safety modules.
1718 EX I/O
1719 EX I/O
For stand alone HMI solution we can offer Panel Plus View or PC based solution utilizing FactoryTalk View Site Edition.
We have applied multiple applications utilizing PowerFlex VFDs as well as Kinetix Servo driven motion control for more demanding application.
For Siemens based machines we typically use S7-1500 series PLCs.
Depending on specific need we can offer following I/O systems.
SIMATIC ET 200MP
SIMATIC ET 200SP
SIMATIC ET 200SP HA for safety applications
SIMATIC ET 200iSP for ATEX applications
For the stand along systems we recommended using Siemens Comfort panels that offer variety of sizing and feature options.
Prior to offering machine building Suleng was primarily programming large scale DCS systems for large scale bio science projects in Europe.
Integration of 3rd party machinery from various vendors originating from different standards and background is written down to company DNA.
Over many years extensive knowledge was build around complex assignment where products such as historians, batch management systems, redundancy servers were used.
For every integration project process knowledge is a key to deliver reliable solution. We do not just do programming as we were told, instead we try to assess the automation strategy, advise customer on potential problems and provide best possible solution.
In terms automation platform we are strongly bonded to Wonderwere software products and that would be our preference.
We can provide stand alone Intouch HMIs,
Archestra based DCS platform with InBatch and Historian,
Redundant I/O servers with drivers for almost any controllers available on the market.
Integration with Thin client servers,
VMware virtualization solution for reduced cost and high availability,
Integration with MES platforms to allow for bi-directional communications.
For all our projects we build our electrical panels from scratch. Typical panel for our machine would include 400VAC, 230VAV and 24VDC distribution, external UPS feed, control section with standard or safety PLC, HMI with PC, switch gear for driving direct on line motor or VSD motors, safety relay with associated e-stop, set of terminal blocks for internal and external wiring, temperature driven ventilation, panel internal lighting and laptop socket.
Our panels are usually hygienic stainless steel construction with IP rating but we can do mild steel for less demanding application.
All standard sizes can be utilized from small junction boxes to floor standing panels. Typically we use Rittal, occasionally Shneider and Hoffman.
Depending on customer standards we use major brands for miscellaneous panel equipment such as terminal blocks, fuses, PSU, buttons etc. Every customer like to use something else and we understand that. You can pick and choose of your liking. We try to stick with most popular options like Weidmuller, Siemens, Allen Bradley, Phoenix Contact, Schneider, ABB and Eaton but if there is something exotic we can accommodate it as well.
90% of our installations are drawn using E-Plan. Only for our US customers we do offer Autocad Elecrical.
You never get black box. Once site specification are received we draft drawing for approval and we work with customer to make sure the installation will satisfy their needs. We do not build anything until drawings are reviewed and accepted. With every design customer gets very detailed BOM with all part numbers down to single screw , every wire, din rail and pretty much every components that was used. Complete documentation is given in pdf format as well as native editable files.
All our machines are drawn in 3D. We use Solidworks platform to model our creations from scratch. This us fantastic opportunity to make machine ls exactly the way customer wants it. Co-operation with customer is critical. Starting from basic footprint with utilities location we create machine frame and allocate real estate to necessary tanks, instrumentation, pipework, pumps, motors, enclosures etc.
We know how costly the changes of already fabricated products might be. All aspects of final is product is deeply discussed with investor prior to fabrication.
Industrial machinery can be dangerous. Safety of personnel operating our machine is our top priority. Starting from basic mechanical design we minimize risk factors adding both mechanical protection such as guarding and electronic measures such as safety relays, door interlocking E-Stops and many more depending on application.
It is always good practice to ask second pair of eyes to look at the design. That is why we partner with hand picked CE experts to help us certify the machinery. All our products are fully compliant with latest legislation. Complete assessment and technical file is available as standard with every project.
Majority of our machines are build from Stainless Steel in hygienic design. There is a lot of in-house experience when it comes to Stainless design and fabrication. Our priority is to make the machine functional but that this not mean it cannot be made aesthetically pleasing. Almost every project’s final location is in location where machine needs to be presentable i.e. laboratories, clean room environments, end of a line testing cells. All these areas are heavily audited and that is why we make extra care to the final appearance and quality finish.
Our 3D models are viewable using free software eDrawings. Partially complete designs are shared with customer . That approach eliminate major design rework and speeds up approval process. Once the model is complete and approved Solidworks native files as well as 2D General Arrangement drawings are shared with customer.
Customer becomes the owner of intellectual property. This applies not only to mechanical design but also software such as PLC and HMI.
Not everything can be reviewed by simply looking at laptop screen. We understand that and that is why we offer Virtual Reality walkaround using VR headset. Found that to be great way to check ergonomics and functionality of the machine.
90% of our machines are being place in GMP environments. Full validation suite is offered for our customer peace of mind and highest quality standards.
Each machine comes with up to date User Requirement Datasheet, Hardware Development Sheet, Software Development Sheet , Factory Acceptance Testing and Site Acceptance Testing protocols.
On request we can provide Installation Qualification and Operational Qualification for equipment built by us.
All documentation is GxP compliant. Example of our documentation can be shared on request.
We also offer assistance in automation software validation compliant with GAMP4 for PLC, HMI and DacS systems.
At this time it would be commercially impractical to have ISO certified quality system in place however we are well accustomed to quality requirements of corporate clients and we do our best to meet their expectations.
