Suleng

History

Early days of Suleng

Suleng was founded in 2011.

Initially Wojciech Sulek was contracting for various multinational pharmaceutical customers.
In that period extensive training and experience was accumulated.  Starting role was an automation and software engineer. With time he has been exposed to different roles and assignments.
This would include process engineering, safety engineering, quality control, hiring process and eventually managing people on site.
Our founder was involved in large scale greenfield projects with very broad exposure to project execution, timing, daily issues, quality, and cost impact. During that period, he had a chance to observe full project circle with planning, costing and execution.

Typical project would involve design, process mapping, finding and procuring suppliers for building equipment, equipment installation, commission and finally transitioning into site full scale production cycle.

Transition from contracting into delivering turnkey solution in 2018

2018 – was a milestone for Suleng. Wojciech was assigned by one of the pharmaceutical corporate to find equipment supplier to modify existing end of the line final product testing equipment.

At the time it was not possible to find single company to deliver turn key solution. Work included designing and manufacturing electrical panels modifying mechanical assembly, programming PLC and HMI, issuing CE certificate and providing validation suite including design specification, installation and operation qualification protocols.

Over next two years Suleng has scaled up operations in revenue and head count.

This allowed for taking first full-scale turnkey solution machine building project.

Machine building 2020 onwards

In 2020 Suleng finished its first complete pharmaceutical grade machine.

Suleng consecutively delivered multiple machines to Germany, United States and Ireland.

Suleng specialise in producing low volume bespoke pharmaceutical and bioscience grade testing equipment.

Typical project life cycle would include:

  • initial meeting with customer, identification of the project goals.
  • Basic engineering to identify scope of work. At that point we can provide the cost of the machine building.
  • Detail engineering – this stage is critical to any project. At this point Suleng works closely with customer to develop P&ID diagrams, instrumentation list, general arrangement drawings, 3D modelling, electrical drawings, risk assessment, hardware and software specification sheets.
  • Mechanical fabrication – before anything is built, all the details design documents are discussed and approved by customer.
  • Electrical panel fabrication
  • Factory acceptance testing
  • Installation and commissioning on site
  • GMP validation on site
  • Outgoing site support and periodic maintenance work
